CITY HALL—The Columbus Junction City Hall is located at 232 2nd Street in Columbus Junction. The hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The phone number is (319) 728-7971. LAW ENFORCEMENT—In addition to the police Chief there are three full-time police officers and three volunteer reserve officers. Columbus City and Fredonia are part of the Louisa County Unified Law Enforcement (ULE) system dispatched through the sheriff’s office in Wapello. MUNICIPAL SERVICES—Water and sewer hookups are required in Columbus Junction. Information and billing is handled through City Hall. City water is tapped from the Jordon aquifer and treated with a Zeolite softening system and fluoride is added at the water treatment plant. Columbus Junction furnishes water to Columbus City.
POST OFFICE—The Columbus Junction Post Office is located on the corner of Second and Walnut Streets, and may be reached at (319) 728-2512. Window hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:15 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Saturdays.

LOUISA COUNTY COURTHOUSE—The Louisa County Courthouse is located at 117 South Main Street in Wapello.
